01
You can cancel in one click, from any page, at any time.
The industry pattern — cannot cancel. The single most common grievance in this industry. Public complaint records show families locked into multi year agreements, told a cancellation window had closed, quoted four figure sums to get out, and in one documented case held to a seven year contract. Competitors' own terms include the phrase "there is no opt out."
What we do instead. There are no term contracts here and no early termination fees, because the athlete profile is free. Where we ever charge for anything it is month to month, cancellable in the account settings in two clicks, with no retention call, no chat queue, and no email to a review inbox. The cancel link lives in the footer of every page and in every receipt.
02
Nothing renews unless you say yes.
The industry pattern — surprise auto renewal. The only class action documented in this sector was brought over automatic renewal, alleging that terms were not presented clearly or near the purchase button and that cards were charged without affirmative consent. A separate site generated most of its complaints from one pattern: a low promotional price that silently renews at full price.
What we do instead. We do not auto charge. When something is about to expire we email you an offer and you click to continue. If we ever introduce a recurring plan, it will never renew at a higher price than the one you last actively agreed to, you will get an email thirty days and seven days before any charge with the exact amount and a one click cancel, and any charge you dispute within thirty days is refunded in full without an argument.
03
Nobody here earns a commission on you.
The industry pattern — high pressure sales. Former employees of the largest platform in this category described the job publicly: around a hundred calls a day, families called at seven and eight in the evening, leads recycled up to ten times, sales numbers posted four times a day, and a stated expectation to tell families their child would not be recruited unless they bought that day. That is a compensation design, not a few bad actors.
What we do instead. There is no closing call, because there is nothing to close. You create your profile yourself, in one sitting, without speaking to anyone. No member of this organization is paid a commission, a bonus, or a quota on anything you do or do not purchase. No countdown timers, no expiring offers, no manufactured deadlines.
04
We publish everything before you talk to a human.
The industry pattern — hidden pricing and terms. The largest platform in this category publishes no price list at all, and its public terms of service contain no contract length, no cancellation window, no refund policy and no early termination fee. Those terms point to a purchase policy that does not cover the product, which points back to the terms. A family genuinely cannot read what they are agreeing to before a salesperson calls them.
What we do instead. Every price, every term, and every policy is on this website, with no login and no form. The athlete profile is free and always will be. College coaches never pay. If we ever charge for anything, the full terms will sit above the button, in plain English, before you enter a card.
05
We will never tell you what your child's odds are.
The industry pattern — implied scholarship promises. A state attorney general penalized one recruiting service for advertising that ninety percent of its clients received scholarships, a figure it could not substantiate, and for contracts missing legally required cancellation rights. Another operator was sued for advertising a programme as the best in its region when it had never been rated by anyone. Across the industry, the disclaimers live on a blog post rather than in the sales call.
What we do instead. We will not quote you a placement percentage, because any number we gave you would be describing other people's children. Roughly eight million young people play high school sports and around five hundred thousand compete in the NCAA. We put that ratio on the page rather than hiding it, and the tools here are built for what happens to the other fifteen in sixteen as much as for the one.
06
Injury, quitting, transfer, or graduation ends it immediately.
The industry pattern — refunds refused. Public complaints describe a family denied cancellation after their son's career ending injury, another told they could only cancel if the child was injured, and refunds refused on the same day a purchase was made. One competitor's terms declare every subscription, package and service non refundable without exception.
What we do instead. A career ending or season ending injury, a decision to stop playing, a transfer, a commitment, or graduation ends any paid arrangement on the spot with the unused portion refunded. A parent's word is enough; we will not ask for medical documentation about your child.
07
We will never email a coach on your behalf.
The industry pattern — outreach coaches ignore. A Division I head coach told a national newspaper he deletes as many as twenty emails a day from recruiting services without opening them. A club recruiting coordinator said she never opens the ones sent to her own college. Blast outreach is the core product of the paid recruiting industry and the people it is aimed at have stopped reading it.
What we do instead. We do not send templated emails to coaches in your name, because it does not work and it spends your credibility. What we build instead is the coach side: search, film, academics, schedules and staff directories that a coach actually opens by choice. You see verified activity only, real coaches who really looked.
08
You will always see who viewed your profile, free.
The industry pattern — paywalling the anxiety. The most common complaint about the cleanest operator in this category is that it charges a monthly fee to reveal which colleges viewed an athlete. Charging a family to find out whether anyone is interested in their child monetizes worry rather than work.
What we do instead. Profile views, which programmes looked, when they looked and how often, are free and always visible. If we ever charge for anything it will be for a workflow that saves someone time, never for the answer to whether your child is being seen.
09
No forced arbitration. No class action waiver.
The industry pattern — no route to redress. The largest platform requires families anywhere in the country to arbitrate individually in one Florida county and waives class actions outright. That is why hundreds of complaints have produced no collective case, and why another site grants refunds only to the families who escalate to a complaints bureau.
What we do instead. We do not ask you to give up your right to sue us or to join with other families. Billing questions get a human answer within two business days, and we will publish how many disputes we receive and how they were resolved.
10
Your child's records are treated as medical records.
The industry pattern — data sold, leaked, or spammed. One coach facing platform left more than seven hundred thousand files on an unsecured server, including medical records, post injury reports, test scores, driver licenses and dates of birth, and ignored the researcher who warned them until a journalist called. Elsewhere, families report their details recycled through sales queues ten times over.
What we do instead. Transcripts and any health information are encrypted and stay private until a family approves a specific request. We do not sell, rent, or share family contact details with anyone, and that is written into the terms as a binding commitment rather than a privacy policy hedge. There is no third party advertising on this platform at all. One click exports everything you have given us, and one click deletes it for good.
